Physical Therapy

Ideally a visit to your physical therapist preoperatively will establish your baseline and help the therapist plan a postoperative therapy program.  Physical therapist will be coming out to your house for the first 2 weeks after surgery and then you will do therapy in your community for an additional 2 to 6 weeks depending upon progress.
